It is with great sorrow that the Doniphan West FFA Chapter says good-bye to a former FFA member. John Burke lost his life in the Bartlett Grain explosion in Atchison, Kan., on Oct. 29. Prior to the Doniphan West consolidation, John attended Midway Schools. He graduated from Doniphan West in 2006. While he was an FFA member, John received his State FFA Degree and placed 7th at the Kansas FFA Career Development Events in entomology. May God bless John and his family in this difficult time.
